Nutan
The official Latin name of nutan is Leucospermum. The flower somewhat resembles an exotic pincushion. Indeed, the nutan has a very exotic appearance with very beautiful and bright colours. Nowadays, it is available in many different colours such as orange, red, ochre or lemon yellow. Furthermore, the nutan has a relatively thick stem, making it a fairly sturdy flower. This is also necessary to support the flower. The nutan originally grows on the coast of South Africa.
Protea
The Protea can be described as a robust beauty with its sturdy flower stem, large colourful leaves and mysterious heart. As such, the Protea is beautiful when placed solo in a vase. Or use it as an eye-catcher in a bouquet. Be amazed by this South African beauty and its many varieties. Protea is characterised by its white mass of stamens and large colourful leaves. The colours of the leaves range from light to dark pink, with white and orange-yellow around the flower. The Protea is not a symbol of diversity for nothing. In fact, there are hundreds of varieties. Each species has its own style and shape. Some flowers grow up to 35cm tall! We have chosen a few varieties to introduce to you.
Cape
Kaaps, also called kaaps green, is a collective name for all kinds of green products from South Africa. It is good to know that kaaps is not always available all year round. From September to the end of December, this product can be found in our range.
